Computer Thinking ...

Post by RLink » Sat Aug 06, 2011 5:21 pm

Hi All -

I remember a small tidbit piece of Atari Basic programming from one of the magazines (Antic?) that has stuck in my mind over the years. I think it was called "Computer Thinking". It was just a few lines long and generated random music tones that sounded like what a person might expect a computer to sound like when it is "thinking". Anyone know which magazine it was from or have a listing of the code? It was in a one page collection of very small utilities that I looked forward to each month. If I knew which magazine and issue it was from, I would enjoy tracking down a copy as a keepsake. It's one of those things that I think of every few years and makes me crazy because I can't remember where it came from...

Over the years, I moved on to dBase, Clipper, Visual Basic and Delphi programming for various companies and have had my own computer support business for many years, all resulting from my original Atari 800 and Atari Basic.
