SIO2IDE

Post by Elesias » Mon Nov 15, 2004 9:07 pm

I heard some interesting things about this stuff, but it was some time ago.

All I can find right now is located on Polish websites, and I must confess I'm not very fluent in this language :D
So I was wondering : does anyone here own this interface ? Or at least is there a way to get one ?

Thanks,

Fred

Have you considered the Black Box from CSS?

I like the look of that!

There is info about it here:

http://www.nleaudio.com/css/products/black.htm

I don't know if the compny is still trading, though.

These do appear on ebay from time to time.

I've never used this, but it has, at least, the virtue of being available...

Yes, I noticed that too.
Really unfortunate, but Paypal is a welcome security. So I guess I won't give it a try.

Maybe the seller would accept escrow.

I've never used such a service, so I don't know what the costs would be, but it might be an option.

Don't understand what you meens :|
Do you want to know how I found/bought them
or
how I use them ?

For now, I only use the Myide as an image-loader.
Just work like a charme but the non-ability to use your name for an image was a big unpleasant think
But, this bad thing is already corrected :mr.green: :mr.green: :mr.green:

For the sio2ide, the very good thing 'bout it is that it work almost like sio2pc but without the PC, only the hard-disk!!!
You can format the hard-disk on the PC, put all the ATR image you have
(got a lot... http://www.redraven.perso.cegetel.net/ )
(or here http://the-redraven-site.chez.tiscali.fr/ ) and voila, the hard-disk is ready to be put into the ATARI and in use imediatly.
Hope that will be as easy as it seems :mr.green:

Hope that help

Sorry for the "Englishism."

I just wanted to know what you thought about the two products, and that's exactly what you posted. Thanks!
