Yes, I know, you're fond of your Atari computers and consoles.

By the way, do you have other favourite systems ?

There are other systems I really like but not to the point of collecting. It's really A8 computers all the way.

I do have a fairly large collection of gaming magazines from the 1980-85 era though... not counting the Atari ones

I don't collect only A8, I also collect VCS games (main part of my collection), Atari Pongs, ST family computers, Lynx, Jaguar, Arcade games (I have Pole Position and Gauntlet) and Atari goodies (posters, ads,etc.)

The only no-Atari system I collect is the Vectrex...

Any consoles from 70's to 2k!
But 2600 is my favorite after comes Coleco, Vectrex, Intellivision...i have reach more than 120 consoles and hundred of games!
Some computers are welcome also, Atari of course but any machines who accept cartridges (msx, ti4...)...and with my 3000 records of disco, funk, techno and industrial i don't know where i could sleep in the next years

Besides for the Atari systems, I have 30+ other game consoles. The other non-Atari consoles I either actively collect for or have completed are Colecovision, Intellivision, Astrocade, Arcadia 2001, Odyssey2 and the Sega Dreamcast.

I have many 8-bit computers from the 70s and 80s.

I really only collect A8, but I dabble in others too. I have some C64 stuff (I know, I'm an infidel!), some Acorn, Apple and Sinclair stuff, and various others (inc lots of Atari ST). I've also been known to buy some 2600 items from time to time.

I don't yet have a Commodore Pet, but that's a temporary situation.

If the prices ever come down, I'd also like to get an Elan Enterprise. It was not supported, but the spec was phenomenal for an 8-bit machine.

The Elan is a pretty interesting (and uncommon) machine, but I don't own one.

However, I have a PET (CBM 3016), and it really looks like a dinosaur, making him really funny. But, as you may see on my website, I'm fond of Colecovision and Oric above all else.

The Elan Enterprise would probably be my computer of choice as well

I have to say I really love the Apple (it IS history after all) and C64. The Spectrum range and Oric really have personality despite their technical limitations. The basic MSX series is nothing special but it has so many great Japanese games it would be a crime to dismiss it. The Amstrad CPC never did anything for me and never will. Never tried any of the BBC machines.

Ok, now I can admit that I collect some stuff for other computers too To be precise I collect "Last Ninja" for all computers it was released for. You could buy this game for Commodore computers, Spectrum, CPC and even the Acorn BBC has it - but nobody ever made it for Atari 8-Bit

The Acorn machines were generally good for the time. The BBC, in particular, had a great dialect of BASIC, including WHILE/WEND, PROC/ENDPROC, REPEAT/UNTIL and other Pascal-like structures. It also had a built in assembler, so you could embed 6502 assembly language right into BASIC programs.
