there was a game i had for my Atari 800 XL that i got from a friend in germany. it was kind of like Joust, but an exploration adventure game that took place in a cavern where you were free to go from screen to screen like in Hero. it was also in the german language. only other thing i remember is that "ritter" was the middle difficulty.

if anyone has a guess at this, DEAR GOD PLEASE TELL ME!!! it's been driving me nuts for years and i really want to play it again!

i think the best thing about this game was that i had no idea what was going on because i didn't speak german and i had to explore and figure it out.

these days it's hard to believe that so much fun could be contained in 39k
