Hi,

First of all, I like the site, very nice. I wish there were more sites like this for other systems/companies. Kudos on the design.

We're glad you like it :)

Thanks for the link to your excellent website, there seems to be some reviews for Atari ST system in Videogames & Computer Entertainment magazine. I'm going to download couple of issues.

Keep up the good work :)

Thank you for the nice comments about Retromags. We are trying our hardest to get older computer magazines but we are 100% dependent on member assistance on what gets put up for release (as long as it is not newer than 1999).
Not sure if you saw this but here is a mag that has ST games in it:

Compute! http://www.retromags.com/forums/Compute ... e1121.html

We have a special for any admins or moderators here that wish to join up at Retromags, just message me here your username on RM and I will make sure to get your account upgraded to premium status (you can download about 1.8 gigs of magazines each week).

Thanks, yes it's a very interesting and important project. I'm going to check it out often. Found already some nice ST USA release adverts and reviews. Do you mind if we use some of the scans in ST games section? Your site will ofcourse be mentioned in the news section if that's ok.

The nostalgia is really flooding all over. I'm also a big fan of 3DO system and now I can read again all those EGM2 and GamePro magazines I used to have in the 90's :)

If you want to use any scans from our site, that is fine, we have no problem with it, all Philly asks is if you can put a clickable link back to www.retromags.com.

I have been removed as the Administrator at Retromags and have decided to leave after many misunderstandings with the owner. I have started up Out-of-Print Archive with another former member of Retromags, meppi and a third person, STGuy1040. Here is our address, http://www.outofprintarchive.com come by and let us know what you think! We are working with many publishers and copyright owners to bring even more legal, official releases out with OoPA than we could ever have done with Retromags.

Hi triverse,

Nice to hear from you :)

It's always a sad thing when creative people drift to the misunderstandings. And as the ship sails on the storm gets worse and worse... But anyway... I really like the appearance and look of your new site. I think it's much more easier to navigate. I wish that STGuy1040 handle refers to a Atari 1040ST user which raises my interest even more ;)

Keep up the good work, I'll follow closely what's going to happen in the next few months :)

Hi marakatti, good to hear from you again too. Yes, it is a shame when things get so out of hand that they can't be reconciled but well, that is what striking out on your own is all about. :) We are forging ahead with our vision with OoPA (at one point a similar design was to be implemented into Retromags but after hearing for almost a year that it was garbage and useless, well, it just added to the worsening situation).

I am posting a link to this thread over on OoPA so that my partners can read your comments too, meppi is our design man and well, as you can see, he is brilliant with ease of use and beauty being married together. Thank you for the compliments on the design and ease of use, it does mean a lot to us (it is something we are striving for with OoPA).

Yes, STGuy1040 is a major Atari nut, he is a great guy and breathes Atari (he is the publisher of Classic Video Gamer Magazine, though we run everything separate of each other).

We welcome you and anyone else that wishes to come over and participate to do so, we don't hide sections of the forum from our members in leiu of a "membership" fee of money or any kind of donation, all you have to do is sign up to participate and it is completely free. We have many lurkers that just stop in and read what is being posted (which is fine too).

The next few months are going to be truly exciting for OoPA and fans of classic or retro gaming magazines. We have some major announcements in store for everyone. ;)
