transfewrring items from orbitor to cargo hold in Universe

Hi... having problems transferring cargo from orbitor to cargo hold. I have one orbitor.. ..and as per instructions I press 'zero' with the pointer beside the item I want to move over. There is a 'bleep' and the item refuses to move. My market program is running. Can anyone help..or have I encountered a bug here.
