Looking for a 16K game written in basic on a Atari 400

Post by rajncajn » Sat Jan 17, 2009 10:00 pm

I am searching for a horse racing game that I wrote on my 1st computer in the early 80s. I uploaded it to the BBSs so it might have survived. If someone runs accross it, please let me know.
Thanks!

Do you remember anything else? The problem is that there are a number of similar games floating around and it can be very difficult telling them apart...

I am not exactly sure of the exact name. I have found some that were not it. Mine had 4 horses. There was the music before each race and a bell. The Finish line said finish on it. I used player missal graphics for the 4 horses and the finish line. At the beginning of the game it said it was by me... My initials are R.T. I don't really want to throw my name out on the Internet. If you look at the code, I remember that I used a lot of "GOTO" statements to determine which horse was 1st 2nd and 3rd. That should be enough information to identify it.
Thanks for your help!
