The Translator
Does anyone know what the disk image looked like for the US Atari release of The Translator utility? Is this release at all rare?
It is not very rare, but it is not common either.
Atari allowed free distribution (at least I think so), and it is not copy protected. But it wasn't included with the computer or the disk drive. So most users at the time had a "legal" non-original copy. This probably explains why it is not as common as you would expect.
If you are asking about market value, then disregarding how rare (or not) it is, it probably won't sell for too much.
Btw, other third party translators, such as XL-FIX are pretty rare.
