The Apple II was never a consideration, the C64 nowhere to be
seen at this time, and no Spectrum.
After seeing Star Raiders going, what other computer can even compare?
It is a bit strange though, to go from writing game reviews for Page 6, drawing a few pictures with MicroPainter --- and eventually becoming involved with designing game graphics, to designing a game almost in it's entirety? My memory is a bit fuzzy how HawkQuest came about, and whether it has met or exceeded what I wanted it to do?
Of course, the person responsible for HawkQuest - for making it possible, is it's programmer - Andrew Bradfield, who started as a keen computer videogames player. That he actually ended up programming two computer videogames, is probably his dreams come true?
He's not around anymore, to comment upon this...
