disc problems etc

Hi there thanking you for your help with my first problem got another with the alternate reality the city...the discs are double sided disc 1 loads ok disc2 all i get is a grinding noise from the drive any thoughts on this....also disc one askes me to format a save game disc and to my embarrassment i'v forgotten how to do this any help will be appreciated

Probably it is damaged. Not fatal, again. It is like The Dungeon, only side 1 of disk 1 is copy protected. You can replace the damaged disk with another disk written with an ATR image.

You have to boot DOS 2.0, or any compatible DOS. Then, depending on exactly which DOS you'll use there is a command for formatting a disk. Some games can do this by themselves, avoiding the need of booting DOS. I'm not sure if this is the case of AR.

In anycase, just make sure you format a blank disk, and not any of the original ones.
