Hello Gang,
Does anybody know if the 3D vector engine of the Battlezone XE release is identical to the 5200 proto ? Or are the two releases completely different ?
By its blend of raster graphics and vector, the 5200 looks a lot better than the XE cart - maybe a hack wouldn't be too difficult.

Hi Andy,
Hope you're doing OK
Not really answering your question but did you check Assault Force 3-D? Of course, it uses a special cartridge to speed up the graphics but I think it's a far more interesting BattleZone clone. A disassembly of this particular game would be difficult but probably more helpful.

Graphic Upgrade
Atari Frog,
Quite cool !
Since I'm working on the double GTIA upgrade by Analmux, it's interesting to know that something of that nature has already been achieved in the past.
I am very curious to get some screenshots from that program. Any dump (probably useless without the cart) coming soon ?
