Micro Discount releases.

Post by John E. » Tue Jan 03, 2006 3:39 pm

I recently came across the Mirco Discount disks that Derek Fern sent me and they are Cavernia, The Last Guardian, Mirax Force, Sidewinder, Zybex and The Last Guardian.

All have the M.D.Software gold stickers and disk labels so they seem genuine releases.

Also, the Zybex is the Stereo Sound version so should this be classed as a different release or the same game?

Interesting - are you able to make images of the disks (.atr files)?

I would be able to but the Atari stuff is back in the loft so it'll have to wait until I have some spare time.

And, no, I won't image 'The Last Guardian' twice!

Derek Fern aquired all distribution rights of Zeppelin software. He sold the software on disk (not on cassette) with the original Zeppelin cassette covers.

Some disk-conversions were made by ANG Software, especially the gumby stereo versions of Draconus and Zybex.

ANG Software had arrangements with Derek to sell the software in mainland Europe.
