The Operation Blood scans are mis-matched

The package scans for Operation Blood that were uploaded yesterday, are NOT from the Mirage Software release of the game. Operation Blood was released first in 1992 in Poland by Mirage, and then licenced to ANG which released it in the Netherlands in '92 or '93. The ANG version supports the light gun as an additional feature (it's mentioned in the instruction scan). The Mirage release had a different cover.

Please correct the error.

Glad to see some new activity in the 8-bit area :)

While we're at it, you might want to remove this entry from the database, since you have created a new entry for the ANG release.

Operation Blood by Mirage was also released on tape. The dump is here: side A, side B. Currently these images work only in the modified Atari800 from the A8CAS website (with SIO patch disabled), but they also can be converted to a real tape with the CAS2WAV program (and also with a8cas-convert).

Loading instructions: Load Side A with Start+Option, then after the title screen loads, press fire and then any key: another part will load. When it finishes, the screen will read "Plansza 1-ustaw kasete i nacisnij klawisz" [Level 1-position tape and press any key]. The tape motor will NOT stop. Switch tape to Side B and press a key - level 1 will load.

After each level ends, the same "position tape" text will appear. There you have to press a key rather quickly, because the tape motor does not stop. There are six levels, after the last one the game restarts and Side B must be rewound to load level 1 again.

Cheats: on the title screen, enter "bc" to see a message from the authors.
In game press:
Option + Control + Esc: restore supply of grenades
Option + Control + - (minus): restore supply of ammo cartridges
Option + Control + , (comma): add health
Option + Control + T: skip level

Operation Blood from ANG has 2 covers. A red one for the normal version and the same cover on green paper (with below the title the words for lightgun).

The manual scan in your database is added by Powersoft in Germany. On the inside of the ANG cover you will find the original translation of the Polish Manual.

As for the ANG titles in your database.... a lot is missing. I will try to find some time to make a post with all adjustments and scans.

Kind regards,
Fred
