I'm almost sure they were all released as singles. In first place, in all the combo we have seen, the box is just for one title. The combo is indicated with a sticker, not preprinted in the box. It is also very unlikely that Synapse would release two big hits in a bundle right from the start. More t...

As Deathtrap, AH is not my speciality, so I can't comment too much. But I think this is a similar case as SSI . They are games not for everyone. But those that like them, are fans. So it is very difficult to make estimates. Jupiter Mission and the sequel are perhaps the main exception. They are prob...

Because that is not the Artworx release. It is the canadian release by Advantage. Probably rarer than the US release?deathtrappomegranate wrote:Cool. I've never seen the clamshell packaging for that one.
This also explains why it is flippy. I have a couple of other Advantage releases and they are also flippies.

Hi, I'm assuming that since it is a .DLL file it is only useful on a Wintel machine so you're pretty much excluding a whole ton of "other" platform's. A toolset for Linux, both for emulation and SIO2PC applications, will be released soon. I expect other platforms (such as Mac) to take bit longer, bu...

BTW, the name of the company is Artwor x  Isn't human brain amazing! For some reason, I misread the company name long ago. And since then, even when I've seen countless of disks/boxes/references/etc, I kept reading what was in mind (and not what it was written). Yeah, it wasn't a typo. I was ...

Artworx used to double Atari and Commodore in the same box for some titles, so I could check my stuff. Are you sure? I don't have too many Artwork titles. But none of the ones I have is dual-platform (neither flippy, neither 2 disks). I suppose it is possible, that as many other publishers, later r...

That would suggest that they didn't release for the Atari until mid or late 1982, and that's also when most upgrades had been done already (not all though!) - hence I think the Atari versions are more or less done. :) ... Try finding the original Computer Bismarck from 1980.. Oh, I see you are talk...

What we do find are mostly re-releases and upgraded versions (v1.1, v1.2, Second Editions and so on) from later years. They had a big catalog, and many games were in print for many years. Computer Ambush for example, was in print all the way up to 1988! (it's from 1982 originally). Most of the firs...

The thing here is that we think SSI are big when we look back The truth is that (almost) all publishers were rather small back then. They were insignificantly small if you compare them with today's corporations. Hey, even Microsoft was small :) But yet, there were major and minor publishers. Even w...

And yes, it does exist Ijor, I know that to be a fact. But that copy is no more, it's been thrown away... (I know, I want to kill him too) So tell everybody who was the bastard :) It is quite strange that a title from such a major publisher is so rare. Any idea or speculation about the possible rea...

Re: Queen of Hearts Yeah, that's about it. ;) And of course as I said, I have the disk + reference card so it DOES exist. ;) Well, the software exists. This doesn't proof that the box exists :) I do not think one should get involved with pricing at all I agree. I was just describing the stamp and co...

Interesting debate. Myself I had (and have) disagreements with AM rarity values many times. But I think the most important point is that rarity is only a guideline. It can’t be seen as an absolute precise measurement. Because IMHO, that wouldn’t be feasible. Let me compare with two of the most impor...

For Magneto or Salmon Run, I would be willing to pay the mail to loan it to one of the Admins for dumping, if they are in the US. I'm not in the US, but I have an US address for receiving mail. I can dump the disks and return them back to you. I am not exactly an admin, but I'm sure the admins will...
