Re: Would you host tape images in the "extended" CAS format?
OK then, let me share some additional information regarding the images, and fix some bugs in the database. (Except where noted, all dumps work only with SIO patch disabled, and all dumps are in the extended CAS format and load only in the Atari800-a8cas emulator and AtariSIO. If an image is not exte...

Would you host tape images in the "extended" CAS format?
I have imaged a number of Polish tape originals. Most of them employ copy-prevention, which cannot be converted to CAS format originally introduced by Ernest Schreurs with his WAV2CAS utility. To make dumping them possible, the CAS format had to be extended - which is what I did as part of my A8CAS ...

CAS Dump and scans of Steve Davis Snooker
Here a CAS dump and scans of Blue Ribbon Software's "Steve Davis Snooker" . The scans are more complete than the ones currently hosted. The CAS file is 100% correct and works with the latest Atari800 (2.2.1) with and without the SIO patch (I haven't checked other emulators). All credit goes to Atari...

Instead of whining try using your favourite search engine to find some tutorial on Atari800Win.

Re: Cannot open pages for Preppie! II (VAPI format)
I can confirm that - when you click the "Preppie! II" in the August 13, 2011/New dumps section of the Latest Updates page, it goes bonkers.
Also, the link mentions "VAPI format", however a VAPI image isn't available neither on the Preppie! II page nor on the VAPI page.

Cannot open pages for Compu=Prompt at Atarimania
There's a bug in Atarimania - for each software that has a "=" sign in its name, I cannot open that software's page. Try searching for Compu=Prompt in the 8-bits Utilities section, and then click the software's name - you'll get "Page Not Found". One has to manually remove the "=" sign from the link...

Re: Kissin Kousins cassette dump
Funny, that's the dump I've made a year ago. I assume you got it from here or here . I've specifically held up with posting this image to Atarimania, because it doesn't work with the current version of Atari800 (although it WILL work with the next release of the emulator, and I'm suspecting it would...

Re: The Operation Blood scans are mis-matched
Glad to see some new activity in the 8-bit area :) While we're at it, you might want to remove this entry from the database, since you have created a new entry for the ANG release. Operation Blood by Mirage was also released on tape. The dump is here: side A , side B . Currently these images work on...

The Operation Blood scans are mis-matched
The package scans for Operation Blood that were uploaded yesterday, are NOT from the Mirage Software release of the game. Operation Blood was released first in 1992 in Poland by Mirage, and then licenced to ANG which released it in the Netherlands in '92 or '93. The ANG version supports the light gu...

Re: Four .CAS files
Tank Commander contains a glitch in the 9th-to-last record, no wonder WAV2CAS failed. Anyway, I've managed to dump the game properly. A8CAS is extremely user-unfriendly, however it's also a great tape-debugging tool (I should write a tutorial some day, as currently I'm the only person on Earth that ...

Re: Four .CAS files
Try using A8CAS instead of wav2cas. If it doesn't help, just share the MP3 and I'll look into it.
