I was able to run games using the PC-mirror, and also (against Atari Frogs advice I'm afraid) figured out how to convert .com files to .atr. the ones I did played with no problems.

Are you using the APE software? The PC-mirror part of APE lets you run all executables through a menu. Atari executables are .com, .xex, or .exe Ok, this part I might be able to handle. In the case of Adventure , I think you need to manually boot the program.
