Well I think it may have been on the 5200 or the 2600. not sure I looked up the two games suggested and it could be the dungeons dragons and other perils but it doesn't look right. I dont' remember it telling me the mob i was facing. Sounds like i dont' remember enough of it to get an answer thanks ...

It was an RPG as far as i remember and i believe it was on an 8 track type of console. Kinda hazy on the details as I was really young at the time that we played it.
