Re: Site database stollen?

On the icon bar at the top right corner (below the search box), one of the icons is a drop-down menu with a "User Control Panel" link - use it. When in the Control Panel, switch to the "Profile" tab and then click "Edit account settings" - then you can change the password. @atarimania: I would appre...

Re: Site database stollen?

Encryption of password? Do I understand correctly that you keep user passwords in a form that can be decrypted back to the original text?

The Writer's Tool - additional scans

Hi, The Writer's Tool page currently only contains scans of the binder, cartridge and manual. The package, as it was sold, also included 2 diskettes, a reference card, and a software registration form. Some additional scans are available on the net, maybe you might want to add them to the database: ...

Atari 400/800 Field Service Manual - missing pages

Hi, I've noticed that the PDF of the Atari 400/800 Field Service Manual hosted at Atarimania ends abruptly on page 7-18 and therefore lacks about 1/4 of the pages. A complete document (which only lacks the title page) is available on the Internet for many years, e.g. at archive.org . You might want ...

The manual for Atari XC12 is listed as "Atari CX12"

Hi,

I appreciate the recent additon of the manuals for Atari tape recorders at the manuals section. One spelling error has crept in though - the XC12's manual is incorrectly listed as "Atari CX12 Program Recorder Owner's Manual".

Atariwriter Plus - shouldn't it have capital W?

Hi,

As I've noticed the recent addition of AtariWriter Plus to the 8-bits Utilities list, I'd like to point out a mistake in the entry's name - I think it should be AtariWriter with capital W, not Atariwriter. That's how it's written all over the packaging.

Re: A Question.... can you answer this?

See here.

As for demos, there's a plenty of them, especially from Europe after 1990.

Then you're doing something wrong. It works for me (even though it's a cracked ROM image).

Re: Four .CAS files

BUMP! I won't ask "just how long is "soon" going to take" (it's very tempting though) :-) Anyway, Grzegorz_29_ has sent me his scans of the Atari UK Eastern Front release mentioned above. The archive includes a scan of the cassette, so you wight want to add it to the cover scans that you already hav...

Re: Would you host tape images in the "extended" CAS format?

They did! See the scans courtesy of Atarionline.pl. Such was the specifics of the Polish market, that every commercial title was published in both the tape and disk formats (apparently neither part of the market was small enough to risk ignoring). LK Avalon released each title in both formats, start...
